Getting Some Inc.
Inc. Magazine recently honored two Cleveland companies from among 7,500 nationwide nominees as part of its annual "Inner City 100," which recognizes America's fastest-growing urban businesses. The national monthly business magazine sought entrepreneurial leaders growing successful companies who have shown a commitment to the city limits they call home.
1-888-OHIOCOMP, a worker's compensation benefits provider, and Rysar Properties, a real estate developer, are the two Cleveland companies on the list. (1-888-OHIOCOMP was recognized in December by Case Western Reserve University's annual Weatherhead 100, honoring the 100 fastest-growing companies in Northeast Ohio.)
Not only are 1-888-OHIOCOMP and Rysar Properties prospering in the inner city, they are also contributing to the livelihood of the community by creating jobs, providing essential services and giving to local charities, says the magazine. Founded in 1997, 1-888-OHIOCOMP landed at No. 36 on the Inner City 100. Rysar Properties, No. 92 on Inc.'s list, is centrally located in Midtown near more than 1,000 homes the company has bought, renovated and built.
