CRAZY FOR CLEVELAND
I am a Floridian who moved to Cleveland within the last six months. I knew for more than nine months that I was moving to Cleveland and discussed this new venture with many friends, peers and acquaintances in Florida before moving. I never met any fellow Floridian who was also moving to Cleveland. So I find it surprising that there is a “movement” of dedicated Floridians headed to Cleveland. I happen to find Cleveland surprisingly delightful. It is a great place to live.
As stated in the article, there isn’t anywhere near as much traffic as in Florida. There isn’t even enough traffic to make a discussion about it. There seems to be plenty of fresh water; I can even feel comfortable drinking from the faucet, something unheard of in Florida. Floridians’ claimed “overuse of fresh water” is not uncalled for considering the weather conditions. I doubt any Floridian would even be concerned with watering their lawns daily in Cleveland or ever have to worry about filling a swimming pool here in Cleveland.
I did find the article (“Positively Pittsburgh,” February) somewhat comical but completely made up (especially after looking into the Web site that doesn’t exist). Having lived in Pittsburgh as well for a significant amount of time, I would choose Cleveland over Pittsburgh any day.

GOOGLED OUT
Your article (“Positively Pittsburgh”) in the February edition caught my attention. We have heard of others who are returning to their homes in the Midwest to be closer to family and friends. Additionally, the cost of living in Florida is getting more and more expensive. My company builds condominium communities that are attractive to buyers age 50 and older. Your article mentions the group FloridiansMovingtoCleveland.org. However, I have not been able to get to the Web site. Can you point me in the right direction?
