Evenflow goes international on Amazon US after acquiring Trendy Home

Evenflow, a platform that acquires and helps expand e-commerce brands to greater heights has recently acquired Trendy Home, a Tamil Nadu-based home furnishing brand that primarily sells on Amazon US. This acquisition is Evenflow’s eighth purchase in past eight months.

With this acquisition, Evenflow is seeking to expand its business in international spaces, starting from Amazon US. Most importantly, the company is aiming to replicate the infrastructure to grow its other brands that it has acquired previously in order put them on Amazon US as well.

Trendy Home is a 4-year-old brand and is Evenflow’s very first acquisition in the category of home furnishing items. It seeks to acquire considerable market share in this category on well-renowned e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart, Amazon, Meesho, and others in India.

Ram Kumar, the founder of Trendy Home, said that Evenflow holistically understands the business and brings in crucial expertise that will help the brand to scale up on e-commerce platforms.

He further said that Trendy Home is looking forward to the future plans of building and expanding the brand. It can expand across the globe and can be made accessible through several platforms with a wider range of products with the help of the e-commerce expertise that Evenflow will bring.

According to Utsav Agarwal, the co-founder and CEO of Evenflow, the acquisition has given the company exposure on Amazon US, and it will provide an in-depth learning experience for Evenflow to take its other local brands to international markets.

Home furnishing is an unorganized category, which provides Evenflow a significant opportunity to build a brand and achieve a considerable market share. It accumulates third-party merchants on e-commerce websites such as Flipkart and Amazon and purchases online marketplace sellers between the range of $200,000 – $2 million per brand.
