LinkedIn unveils ‘toolsAto’ for further enhancing user engagement

The platform is planning to roll out ‘toolsAto’ and a new content style, Carousels for driving customer engagement

Professional networking platform, LinkedIn has recently announced that it is unveiling ‘toolsAto’ for users to easily create visual content that helps them stand out and motivate their professional community.

Recently, the company reported a 20% increase year-over-year (YoY) in the number of users adding visual content to their posts. With these new tools, users can now add a clickable link to the images or videos.

The company, in a statement, mentioned that users can now inspire their followers to take further action on or off LinkedIn by directly adding a clickable link on the image and videos to drive the audience on the website, recent newsletter, upcoming event, or other resources. Apparently, users can also create an eye-catching post that too instantly with the help of templates.

The company stated that it is offering an easy way for users to make sure that their posts get recognized.

For the unversed, users can now tap “Post” or go to the share box and tap “Use a template” to create visually engaging content for the audience easily.

In addition, they can also choose from several customizable backgrounds and fonts that are available for making their text more attractive and then hit share.

Users will also be able to add a clickable link in their templates to gain more traction.

According to the company, this new feature is expected to be available in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, the firm has also rolled out Carousels, a new content style that enables users to combine photos and videos to assist their audience in learning in an easy way.

Carousels can assist users in sharing content in a visually appealing, swipeable format, including step-by-step instructions, tactics, and industry trends.
