Nuvei, a global payments technology company, has formed a new alliance with GAN Limited, B2B supplier of internet gambling SaaS solutions.
According to a news release, the collaboration merges Nuvei’s products with GAN’s software-as-a-service gaming platform technology. It follows the debut of the standardized gaming market in Ontario and is now enlarged for operations in Canada and the United States.
In a joint statement, the two companies said that this partnership allows the players to deposit instantly and request instant payouts, and includes multiple alternative and regional payment methods like digital wallets and interac — along with cards.
Philip Fayer, Nuvei Chair and CEO, while commenting on the move, said that providing a completely tailored payments platform to the gaming operators, including local acquiring solutions and a comprehensive suite of payment methods via a single integration, is the main objective for the company for the future of payments in both gaming and broader spaces.
Partnering with GAN to work on bringing this vision to North American operators is one of the key steps forward for an industry slated to grow significantly in the coming years.
GAN is recognized in the gaming sector for its cutting-edge software, which is why the firm thinks this is an exciting partnership, added Fayer.
Moreover, this is the most updated series of partnerships formed by Nuvei this year. The company also collaborated with Betsson Group, a Swedish gaming firm, for helping it bring its online sportsbook to the U.S.
Betsson has also opened a shop in Colorado, operating under the name Betsafe.
Sources believe that Nuvei, with this partnership, will be able to use the instant bank transferring tools to allow players to deposit the money automatically into their gaming accounts directly from their bank accounts.
Furthermore, in the same week, Nuvei declared that it was working with Hard Rock Digital to offer payments services for its Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile app for players in Virginia, Arizona and other states where gaming services are yet to be launched.
