Tesla’s logistical bottlenecks impact EV’s delivery success records

In spite of its outpacing deliveries, Tesla Inc. has reportedly revealed lower sales of electric vehicles than anticipated numbers during the third quarter due to logistics issues.

The major manufacturer of electric vehicles shared that implementing vehicle transportation capacity at an affordable price is becoming increasingly difficult while other economists were also apprehensive about the demand for expensive goods, due to the faltering global economy.

Following the delivery numbers, some expert analysts stated that the economic system around the world was on the edges and that the auto sector was under a heavy cloud. They added that the companies are not getting saved from this brunt much less Tesla, which was still having an adverse effect that's primarily logistical along with some demand problems.

Additionally, Ford Motor stated last month that part shortages had caused delivery delays and that inflation-related expenses would be USD 1 billion higher than anticipated in the third quarter.

On the contrary, Bloomberg also reported last month that Apple Inc. is abandoning plans to raise production of its new iPhones this year after an anticipated jump in demand did not occur.

Ed Moya, senior market analyst at OANDA stated that EVs are in for perhaps a little bit of a hard spell simply because people will tend to behave cautiously and less urgently to acquire something new in such uncertain times.

For those unversed Tesla delivered 343,830 electric vehicles last year, a record for the highest valuable automaker worldwide, but fewer than the 359,162 analysts had anticipated. Notably, 241,300 Tesla units were delivered the previous year.

Further, the most recent deliveries fell short of Tesla's 365,923 vehicle production, which is unusual for the automaker as its deliveries have continuously exceeded or are at par with production in previous quarters.
